What is the easiest way to consolidate credit cards w/out having to file for bankruptcy?

Stepmom7 asked:

My husband and I have around $20,000 in credit cards and I want to get them all on one to only have one payment. Do I get another credit card and put them all on there, get a personal loan, or is there something else out there that can help us? We have good credit, so I don’t want to ruin that. Please help!!

What happens to your existing credit cards if you foreclose your home? How about new credit cards?

Hello. I have a great credit score as of now, but things will certainly change once I fall to foreclosure on my home. 1) Will I lose my existing credit cards? 2) Will I be able to get new ones?

Also, does anyone know how many points you lose with forclosure?
Thank you.

How do I increase my credit score?

manhat28 asked:

Five years ago I left an unpaid bill of 30$ before I moved to a different country. Upon returning, that $30 bill became $800 and it was immediately paid off. However, my credit score went from 780 to 580.

How can I increase my credit score to at least 650 in the next 6 months?

Who would I call? Should I get a lawyer involved?

Please note, I have no debt on my name right now.

consumer refund credit card?

T J asked:

I have bought a jacket yesterday for £300 and paid for it it credit card. Now the problem is that i mentioned this particular jacket to my sister last week and she has also picked me one up today as a suprise on her credit card. On the back of the receipt it says the shop does not give refunds only exchanges or credit notes. Now i have 2 identical jackets at a cost of £600 when i only need the one. the shop does not offer refunds so what can i do to get the money back on one of them??
